The New Jersey Youth Theatre is proud to once again begin its Fall semester of Theatre Arts Acting Classes and Dance Classes for our expanding population of talented students and instructors from around the state of New Jersey and beyond.
NJ Youth Theatre provides two semesters of extensive theatre arts training spanning 8 months for all students aged 8 –21+. We offer professional-level acting classes with an emphasis on acting skills as well as developing a sense of professionalism not found in other acting schools. Many of our alumni have gone on to perform in touring companies around the country as well as Broadway and Off-Broadway.
The New Jersey Youth Theatre is devoted to enabling aspiring youth with the skill set to fully participate and excel in the performing arts, not only as a vehicle to explore their creativity but also as a way to connect with their community and think critically about the world around them.
Who Should Sign Up For Acting & Dance Classes?
Our acting and dance classes are open to children students eight years of age and older, teens and young adults up to age 21+. Our classes are open to:
- Grade school children over 8 years old
- Middle school students
- High school students
- College students
- Young adults 18 and over

- Musical theatre

Our NJ Youth Theatre alumni that have gone through our classes and acted in in our past productions have gone on to Broadway, prime-time television, movies and to major regional theatres across the country.
As important, many NJ Youth Theatre alumni have gone into first-rate theatre-arts programs at major colleges and universities.
