ACTING FOR THE CAMERA

Acting for the Camera is an intensive 3-day course in the technical skills of film work as well as marketing and self promotion. It will delve into the basics of film acting and auditioning.

Day One will tackle film auditions, preparation and cold reads; in days Two & Three, students will work and finalize a scene to be taped. At the conclusion of our class all students will receive a reel of their work for their own personal usage.

Tuesdays, March 21, 28 and April 4 from 5:30pm - 7pm

CLASS FEE

The fee is $120.00 for the entire program.  Please note: class size is limited to 30 students.

INSTRUCTOR: ALYSSA KEMPINSKI

Ms. Kempinski hails from Cranford, New Jersey. A graduate of the William Esper Acting Studio, she has worked in film in front of the camera and behind the scenes as a makeup artist for the past 8 years. Her work in film has been seen in screenings and film festivals from Sundance, Fantasia International Film Fest, LA International Film Fest, IFC and many more festivals in NYC. She will soon be seen on James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal's new HBO series, “The Deuce.”
